It is true, it is disheartening. I wonder how past patients felt about this place though, whether it held this beauty when it was a place smothered in both hope and hopelessness.

I miss bubbles, too. I walked past a toy shop that had a bubble machine outside the other day. You know, the people most excited about them were adults while the kids kept saying “Come onnnnnnn Mum, this is boring!”

Today, I really felt like picking up my old teddy and just cuddling it for a few hours. I miss teddy hugs.
